There is a huge coffee culture in South Korea and a huge cafe culture. Minimalist, maximalist, themed and instagrammable cafe’s fill the entire country. It’s something that I actually miss already, the care taken into the aesthetics of the interiors.
Here, I have collated some of the pictures that I have taken from various cafe’s.

I’ve heard of Korea’s coffee culture, and while I don’t drink coffee often, I would be down to visit the cafés there for a cup, but especially for the ambiance and pastries!
They always have other non coffee drinks so it’ll go well with pastries and you can relax.
Lovely cafes… THAT cake though! 😀
It’s hard not to have cake too!
These cafes look more like someone’s lounge or sitting room than a commercial premises. So ‘hyggelig’ the Danish would call it.
Are the majority like this or selected ones?
It is very hyggelig! I would say majority are like this.
I suspect that makes Korea more attractive to tourists.
I had been regularly following your blog as a part of my research before I left for South Korea. Now that I am back home, your posts have become my comfort posts, a means of reliving my time there via your words. Awesome job! Keep them coming.
Thank you so much for leaving a comment after following the blog! I hope it helped and you had a great time in South Korea. To out future trips back to South Korea one day!
