There is a huge coffee culture in South Korea and a huge cafe culture. Minimalist, maximalist, themed and instagrammable cafe’s fill the entire country. It’s something that I actually miss already, the care taken into the aesthetics of the interiors.
Here, I have collated some of the pictures that I have taken from various cafe’s.
I’ve heard of Korea’s coffee culture, and while I don’t drink coffee often, I would be down to visit the cafés there for a cup, but especially for the ambiance and pastries!
They always have other non coffee drinks so it’ll go well with pastries and you can relax.

These cafes look more like someone’s lounge or sitting room than a commercial premises. So ‘hyggelig’ the Danish would call it.
Are the majority like this or selected ones?
It is very hyggelig! I would say majority are like this.
I suspect that makes Korea more attractive to tourists.
