Lingo in Transit

I thought doing a monthly blog post would require less time but is it just me or do the months seem to be flying past? With that too, the only thing that reminds me of what I have done in the past month are pictures on my phone. I wish I was on school holidays again with weeks of nothing to do.

Anyway, apparently you can get an allergic reaction all of a sudden as an adult. After thinking it was me getting bitten by a mosquito- I have logically deduced that it might actually be an allergic reaction to something that I’ve eaten. Luckily for me, it seems to be from some Asian sweets that I bought from the shops. I say luckily because I’m all for trying to exclude overly processed snacks from my diet. It’s not something that I would particular crave or miss anyway.

Throughout the 2020 lockdowns, whilst people were perfecting making sourdough, I missed the memo and perfected pizza bases instead. One home culinary evening in March 2026, my pizza came out looking like the shape of Australia. I just had to take a picture.

I visited the craft store on the hunt for some fabric and just a general look around that always takes more time than I had planned for. Are all craft stores around the world just chaos? So many shiny fun things to look at. I seem to like it. I came across this brocade which is beautiful but at the moment, have no burning ideas on what I would sew with it. But I took a picture for future reference. Inspiration will turn up soon.

I had 1 work trip which again departed on a rainy morning. These blurry out the window pictures are such a mood. I also took a picture flying when I flew back home and saw the crescent moon in the sky. I thought to myself that this would pretty much be as close to the moon as I will ever get which I chuckled at while I took this photo.
